Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today with Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe Américo Ramos, to whom he expressed gratitude for his country’s support for Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Advancing bilateral relations between Serbia, São Tomé and Príncipe

Prime Ministers Macut and Ramos agreed that relations between Serbia and the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe are characterised by friendship and good cooperation.
The interlocutors highlighted outstanding cooperation in international organisations, with Macut expressing particular gratitude for the position taken by this country during the vote on the resolution on Srebrenica, which was adopted by the UN General Assembly.
The Serbian Prime Minister said that Serbia will continue to support São Tomé and Príncipe, in accordance with its capabilities, and announced the continuation of scholarships for students from this country through the World in Serbia project.
Macut noted that Serbia is ready, through the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment, to share its experience with this country and thus support the modernisation and strengthening of e-government in São Tomé and Príncipe.
