Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić participated today in Washington in the Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism, hosted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Đurić said that the gathering was an opportunity to hear about the violence being carried out against Serbs in the region, against their schools, churches and institutions.
This violence is not naïve, it is politically motivated and very systematic and methodical, he said.
According to him, the activities of extremist organisations are political violence that, according to the assessment and qualification of judicial authorities, sometimes crosses the boundaries of terrorism.
Today’s conference, as he pointed out, aims to establish international dialogue and cooperation in dealing with these matters, to not only identify but also sanction the organisers and financiers of such political violence.
