The Ministry of the Interior announced today that officers of the War Crimes Investigation Service, in cooperation with police officers in Leskovac and the Border Police Directorate, arrested O.S. (born in 1953) at the Mutivode administrative crossing on suspicion of having committed a war crime.

There are grounds for suspicion that, on 14 June 1999, in the Sofalija neighbourhood of Priština, acting together with several members of the so-called “KLA”, the individual used bladed weapons and firearms to brutally and treacherously kill Serb civilians, the married couple Vladimir and Persa Stanisavljević.
