Kostunica said he believes that citizens will confirm the Constitution at the upcoming referendum, adding that this document organises the relations within the country but also preserves the state as a whole since it stresses that Kosovo-Metohija is a constituent part of Serbia.
He said that Serbia wandered a lot in its recent history but that it now has "an opportunity to face itself and organise its interior relations in a brand new way".
Kostunica stated that the Belgrade Book Fair has survived through both good and bad times, shown curious spirit, strength, beauty and wit and that it was always bigger and better than the previous book fair.
Together with the Belgrade Book Fair Director Simon Simonovic and Belgrade Fairgrounds Director Andjelko Trpkovic, Kostunica visited stands in Hall 1 and was particularly interested in publishing activities of the Serbian cultural society Prosvjeta from Croatia, Filip Visnjic publishing house, Text Books and Teaching Aids Institute, and publishers Laguna, Cigoja and Stubovi Kulture.
He also visited exhibition stands of the Ministry of Culture, Ministry for Diaspora and the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection, as well as that of the Pristina Museum.
