Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, met today, on the sidelines of the Summit of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), with President of the Republic of Bulgaria Iliana Iotova.
Macut said that Serbia and Bulgaria are friendly and good neighbourly countries and expressed confidence that they will continue to build closeness and improve cooperation in the future.
The interlocutors noted that there is room for improving cooperation in many areas, which will bring concrete benefits for a better life for the citizens of Serbia and Bulgaria.
Macut and Iotova also discussed resolving cross-border issues and improving infrastructure connectivity, expressing satisfaction with the current plans.
