The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted at today’s session a series of documents necessary for the work of state institutions and bodies, including two decrees on the allocation of non-repayable funds – for supporting the development of business activities in rural areas and supporting the development of voluntary fire associations in those areas.

The Decree Establishing the Programme for the Allocation of Non-Repayable Funds to Support the Development of Business Activities in Rural Areas in the Territory of the Republic of Serbia for 2026 provides funds in the amount of RSD 40,000,000.
The Decree Establishing the Programme for the Allocation of Non-Repayable Funds to Support the Development of Voluntary Fire Associations in Rural Areas in the Territory of the Republic of Serbia for 2026 earmarks funds in the amount of RSD 79,770,000.
The government also adopted the Decree on Airspace Management, which introduces the application of the concept of flexible use of airspace, thereby ensuring its efficient use.
This is a concept in which airspace is viewed as an indivisible whole and is adjusted daily to the needs of users. In this way, the most efficient use of airspace is ensured for both civilian, military and police aircraft. This also contributes not only to the efficiency of air traffic but also to its safety.
At the session, resolutions were also adopted granting consent to the candidacy of the School Sports Association of Serbia to organise the World School Basketball Championship for students under 18 on Mt. Zlatibor this year and the European Open School Championship – Basketball 3x3 for students under 18 in Belgrade this year, as well as consent to the candidacy of the Football Association of Serbia to organise the UEFA Europa League final in Belgrade in 2029.
