Director of the Serbian government’s Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Arno Gujon met with the television crew of the Russian television "My Planet", which is currently in Serbia, with the support of the Office, and is filming a show dedicated to old Serbian crafts, the way of life and traditions of Serbian households.

The television crew will film in Belgrade and the Zlatibor District, and the goal of the show is to bring the unique identity, culture and traditions of Serbia closer to viewers, as well as to present interesting places and people who preserve old crafts from oblivion.
Gujon said that, in a world that is increasingly striving for uniformity, preserving identity and authenticity is a significant value.
Old crafts do not only represent a method of production in the past, but are also part of Serbia's cultural heritage and a testimony to the life, customs, traditions and culture of the Serbian people.
In the past two years, the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy has organised the arrival of journalists and television crews from the USA, Russia, France, England, Italy and Iraq.
