Expo 2027 Participation Contract signed with United States

Belgrade, 11 May 2026

Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade and Commissioner of the Exhibition for Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade Jagoda Lazarević, US Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah B. Rogers and Director of EXPO 2027 d.o.o. Belgrade Danilo Jerinić today signed the Expo 2027 Participation Contract for the United States of America.

Lazarević pointed to the importance of US participation in the exhibition as an important opportunity to strengthen ties between the two countries.

Bilateral relations between Serbia and the United States are developing intensively, both politically and economically, Lazarević said, noting with satisfaction that the level of trade, particularly in services, is growing year after year and that the United States is by far the leading partner in that regard and a key export market.

US participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade is exceptionally important. We look forward to working together, not only through the presentation the United States will have at its national pavilion, but also in the business segment. We want to open the door even wider to US companies, and I believe this can be an exceptional opportunity for them to come and see everything our region has to offer, the Minister concluded.
