At the opening ceremony of the World Digital Education Conference, Stanković emphasised that Serbia's vision is clear and that it refers to improving the quality of teaching and student achievement through digital transformation.
This transformation does not only refer to technology, but also to combining modern pedagogical practices, scientific achievements and fundamental civilizational values, in order to make our education system modern and inclusive, the Minister stated.
As technology advances, the role of teachers becomes even more important, and we do not see artificial intelligence as a replacement for teachers, but as a tool that can improve learning, he said.
Stanković stated that the information and communication technology sector in Serbia is growing rapidly and contributing to the country's economic development, announcing that our country will continue to invest in this sector.
