The Ministry of Justice today sent to the National Assembly draft amendments to a set of judicial laws for an opinion on compliance, for submission to the rapporteurs of the Venice Commission.

The Ministry of Justice today sent to the National Assembly draft amendments to a set of judicial laws for an opinion on compliance, for submission to the rapporteurs of the Venice Commission.
The draft texts were also sent to Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood Gert Jan Koopman, EU Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection Michael McGrath, as well as to Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia Andreas von Beckerath.
These include draft amendments to the Law on the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Law on the Organisation and Competence of State Bodies for Combating High-Tech Crime, the Law on the Seats and Territories of Courts and Public Prosecutor’s Offices, the Law on Judges and the Law on the High Prosecutor’s Council.
