Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić said today in Tashkent, during talks with Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov that Serbia is committed to improving cooperation with that country through specific projects and initiatives.

Đurić pointed out that there is significant potential for strengthening business ties between the two countries and invited Uzbek companies to invest in Serbia.
The next steps regarding the start of the work of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, as well as the initiation of negotiations for the harmonisation of a free trade agreement between the two countries, were also discussed.
