The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced today that exports of lambs from Serbia to Libya have commenced, opening up another important export destination for domestic livestock farmers.
Following the successful harmonisation of veterinary certificates, 15 out of a total of 21 planned consignments have already been dispatched, while the remaining six are expected to be exported by the end of the week.
The total volume of exports amounts to approximately 8,000 lambs, representing a significant step forward for the domestic livestock sector and a further strengthening of Serbia’s presence in the markets of North Africa.
