Special attention was paid to the upcoming presidency of the Republic of Ireland of the Council of Europe from July 2026, bearing in mind that this state defined the support for the enlargement policy and strengthening partnership with the countries of the Western Balkans as one of its priorities.
The interlocutors examined the possibilities of further strengthening cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Ireland, agreeing that it should continue to develop in the spirit of mutual understanding and support for Serbia’s European path, according to a statement from the Ministry of European Integration.
