Government members adopted the text of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church on cooperation in establishing the University of Saint Sava, taking into account the need for continuous improvement of the education system and raising its quality in accordance with the principles of knowledge, upbringing, and morality.
This university is being established with the intention that cooperation between the state and the Church in the field of higher education be based on shared responsibility for the development of knowledge, the preservation of the fundamental values of the individual and society, and the nurturing of cultural and spiritual heritage.
The amended Decision on the Temporary Ban on the Export of Oil and Oil Derivatives was adopted, in order to prevent a critical shortage as global events significantly affect the supply of these goods and cause reduced supply.
The validity of the Decision has been extended until 2 May 2026 in order to protect the domestic market from a shortage of oil derivatives.
