The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on amendments to the Law on tax procedure and tax administration, as well as the Bill on amendments to the Law on corporate profit tax.
It also adopted the Bill on the ratification of the agreement on putting up a high-performance railway network in Southeast Europe and the Bill on the ratification of the protocol on amendments to the Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail.
The government also adopted a strategy for the development of information society in Serbia as well as Serbia's tourism development strategy.
It passed the Decree on amendments to the Decree on the customs-approved treatment of goods, release of goods for free circulation and customs debt collection.
The government also amended the Decree on the procedure for the sale of assets of insurance companies through public tenders. According to the amendments, direct bidding of prospective buyers is introduced as an additional possibility in the public tender procedure.
The government decided to award the Serbian men's national water polo team with €200,000 for winning the gold medal at the European Championship in Belgrade.
It also decided to use 850,000 dinars from current budgetary reserves for the purpose of financing the organisation of the 56th international competition of accordion players in Kragujevac.
