Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said today during a meeting with Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia Carla del Ponte that the completion of cooperation with that tribunal is above all in the interest of Serbia.
Kostunica said that the formation of an action team is a clear sign that the cooperation with the Tribunal is exclusively a matter of implementation of laws, underlining that there is a single and clear goal of the action team, and that is to locate, arrest and hand over Ratko Mladic and the remaining indictees to the Hague tribunal.
During the meeting which was also attended by coordinators of the action team Vladimir Vukcevic and Rasim Ljajic, the Prime Minister pointed out that it is necessary to improve the communication of the competent state bodies and citizens so that every relevant information can reach the action team on time.
Kostunica said that he gives his full support to the coordinators of the team Vojislav Vukcevic and Rasim Ljajic in the realisation of the action plan for the completion of cooperation with the Hague tribunal.
