The Government adopted the Bill on Consumer Protection at today’s session, which further improves consumer rights, and one of the novelties is that retailers will be required to update the price list in real time whenever prices change, so that the information always reflects the actual, current prices in stores and online sales, ensuring that consumers are accurately and promptly informed.

This means that retail chains will be required to publish the price list of products on a daily basis on their website, as well as on their account on the National Open Data Portal.
The new legal solutions apply, among other things, to the sale of goods via online platforms, as the obligations of online market providers towards consumers are equal to the obligations of retailers.
Also, better protection of minors and public health is envisaged, as the ban on the sale of tobacco products to minors has now been extended to related products (electronic devices for heating tobacco or herbal products and electronic cigarettes).
The government adopted the Decree on Incentives for Investors in the Production of Audiovisual Works in Serbia, with the aim of developing the film and television industry and increasing employment in this sector, as well as improving competitiveness and increasing interest in our country as an investment location and attractive destination for filming and developing this production.
The session also adopted the Decree on Establishing the Programme for Financing Activities and Measures for Improving Energy Efficiency in 2026, which provides financial resources for the energy rehabilitation of facilities of public importance.
The Government adopted the Decree on the Proclamation of the Special Nature Reserve Bosut Forests, thereby placing this area under protection as a natural asset of exceptional importance.
The Special Nature Reserve Bosut Forests is one of the most valuable natural areas in our country and the largest spatial entity of pedunculate oak forests in Southeast Europe, which represents the remnants of the former primeval forests of Posavina.
The Bosut Forests have exceptional cross-border importance, because as a unique ecosystem they connect Serbia, Croatia and Republika Srpska, i.e., Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As many as 37 priority habitat types have been recorded in this area, a large number of which have been recognised within the international networks Natura 2000 and Emerald, as well as an exceptionally rich flora and fauna.
