Slovak businessmen wish to take part in privatisation, investments

Serbian Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo talked today in Bratislava with Slovak Minister of Economy Lubomir Jahnatek about the Slovak experience in the EU association process and improvement of bilateral economic relations.
The Ministry of Economy says in a statement that the Slovak experience in the EU association process, as well as the problems the country faced on the road to EU, are of importance to Serbia because the Slovak accession process was one of the fastest ones.
The Slovak side voiced readiness to assist Serbia by offering technical assistance so that it can join the EU as quickly as possible.
The collocutors also discussed the improvement of bilateral economic relations and the Slovak businessmen said that having in mind the position of Serbia and the Balkans in the context of further EU enlargement process, they are interested in taking part in privatisation and investments in Serbia, the statement adds.
