At the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, it was noted that relations between Serbia and Singapore are based on mutual respect and friendship, and that there is significant scope for deepening cooperation in the fields of family policy and active ageing policy.
During the talks, representatives of Singapore were invited to participate in the fourth conference “Serbia – Our Family”, which will be held in Belgrade in December 2026 and will bring together numerous domestic and international stakeholders dedicated to improving family policies.
During her stay in New York, Žarić Kovačević held a series of bilateral meetings dedicated to enhancing cooperation in the field of family and demographic policy.
