The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the national airline Air Serbia, continued the evacuation flight mission for Serbian citizens from the Middle East with another safely implemented flight from Dubai.
The statement states that 266 passengers were safely returned home on a special flight from Dubai last night.
On the second evacuation flight to Dubai since the beginning of the crisis, the delegation of the relevant ministry was led by Assistant Minister Željko Jović, and it left for the United Arab Emirates early yesterday morning in order to establish another air bridge from Belgrade to the Middle East as planned.
Jović recalled that the evacuation of citizens of the Republic of Serbia, who expressed their desire to return to the country from security-threatened areas, began a few days ago, at the initiative of President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, in coordination with the Government of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and with the great support and assistance of our national airline Air Serbia.
He said from the airport in Dubai that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains absolutely open and available 24 hours a day to all its citizens, wherever they may be.
The Ministry, as he emphasised, is making great efforts to respond to all requests and requests in the shortest possible time, so that they can be resolved in the best possible way and in accordance with objective possibilities and legal norms and in accordance with the expectations of Serbian citizens.
