Channel of illegal transfer of immigrants from Albania cut

The Serbian police cut a channel of illegal transfer of immigrants from Albania to Italy through Croatia two days ago near the toll point Bubanj Potok and Simanovci.
The police arrested four Serbian citizens from Sremska Mitrovica who, according to a previous plan, took over and intended to drive the cars of eight citizens of Albania and four Serbian citizens of Albanian nationality from Kosovo-Metohija to the state border near Sid.
The four drivers have been charged with illegal crossing of the state border and human trafficking and handed over to the investigative judge of the Belgrade municipal court.
Out of the total number of migrants, five minors have been placed in a shelter house for foreigners from where they will be returned to their country of origin, while the one who is of legal age has been charged with illegal entry to Serbia, in line with the Law on movement and residence of foreigners.
