The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, due to the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, the Ministry’s Crisis Response Team met today with the aim of coordinating all relevant services and responding in a timely manner to protect the safety of Serbian citizens.

A detailed analysis of the current situation on the ground was conducted, including security risks, the functioning of air traffic and evacuation possibilities, and operational plans and alternative routes for the potential relocation of Serbian citizens were considered, as soon as security conditions allow.
Particular emphasis was placed on direct communication with Serbian citizens currently in the affected areas. An invitation has been sent to all Serbian citizens, if they have not already done so, to contact the nearest diplomatic and consular mission, regularly follow official information channels and act in accordance with security recommendations.
