The Bill on amendments to the Law on organisation and jurisdiction of state bodies in war crimes proceedings was adopted.

The Decree amending the Decree on coefficients for calculation and payment of salaries to public employees was adopted. The amendments adopted increase the coefficients for calculation and payment of salaries of employees in elementary and secondary education, students' institutions, social and health care.
The government brought decisions on the issue of treasury bills of the Republic of Serbia, and set the dates of issue: October 10 and October 24, 2006.

The Decision of the managing board of the public company Srbijagas on the sale of the company's shares to the joint-stock company "Metanolsko-Sircetni Kompleks" from Kikinda was approved by the government.
The government decided to set aside 17.5 million dinars from the budgetary reserves for the activities of the Red Cross of Serbia.
The government adopted the Information on the debt to beneficiaries of the veterans and disabled social care for the period from October 1999 to March 2002 and entrusted the ministries of finance, and labour, employment and social affairs with preparing an appropriate document for the payment of that debt during 2007 and 2008 in equal monthly installments.
The government brought the Conclusion on establishing coefficients for calculation and payment of salaries to elected and appointed officials and employees in the local self-government, and to employees in the institutions of culture and public services that are financed from the budget of the local self-government.
The Conclusion will become effective as of September 2006 when salaries will be increased by 9.66% and in November by 5.04%.
