Minister of Justice Nenad Vujić spoke today with Ambassador of France to Serbia Florence Ferrari about the continuation of Serbia’s EU integration and the advancement of bilateral cooperation in the field of justice and the rule of law.

The emphasis was placed on the areas of judicial reform, strengthening the independence of the judiciary, the fight against corruption and organised crime, as well as improving the professional training of judicial office holders.
Vujić highlighted Serbia’s commitment to the continuation of reform processes and harmonisation with European standards, pointing out to the importance of support and exchange of experiences with France in this process.
Ferrari confirmed France’s readiness to continue providing expert and technical support to Serbia, as well as to encourage institutional cooperation between the two countries’ competent authorities.
