Macura addressed the audience on behalf of the Government of Serbia, stressing that Sretenje symbolises the aspiration for freedom, justice and an orderly society based on the rule of law and equality.
The Minister noted that Serbia and North Macedonia are connected by deep historical, cultural and human ties, as well as a common European perspective and responsibility for the Western Balkans region to be a space of stability, cooperation and prosperity.
Serbia remains firmly committed to peace, cooperation and improving the quality of life of its citizens, Macura emphasised, confident that partnership relations with North Macedonia will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and a shared vision of a stable and prosperous region.
The reception was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, ministers and representatives of the international community.
