Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, today chaired the second session of the Working Team for Determining Investment Projects for the Period 2028-2030, at which all the government ministries’ priority projects for the period were presented.
Macut stated that the Working Team had noticed, in the course of analysing the ministries’ proposals, that certain areas overlap across portfolios, which necessitates creating sub-categories for the projects to be implemented more rationally.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Siniša Mali underlined that projects which have proven highly successful in practice should be continued in the period ahead, such as, for example, pronatalist policy measures and investments in road and railway infrastructure, and that investments in energy infrastructure, environmental protection and other areas will now follow.
Participants in the meeting analysed the proposals of each individual ministry, reviewing the project phases and challenges encountered.
The government’s Working Team was formed with the task of gathering information on investment projects, determining which ones are a priority for implementation and coordinating and directing the work of public administration bodies and other relevant entities in relation to these projects.
