The Serbian police arrested yesterday an organised criminal group composed of 16 members, suspected of unauthorised production, keeping and sale of narcotics and unathorised possession of arms and ammunition.
One of the members of the organised group, Lazar Djordjevic, was organising the network of dealers and go-betweens and then selling heroin to users from Podunavski District. The value of the heroin sold on the illegal market is over €60,000.
All suspects have been taken to custody and will be brought before the investigative judge of the Smederevo District Court, reads the statement.
