Another drug smuggling chain cut

The Serbian police arrested yesterday an organised criminal group made up of 6 members suspected of unautorised production, keeping and sale of narcotics.
Persons arrested are Radomir P. from Mojkovac, Borko B. from Kragujevac, and Goran V., Darko S., Srdjan S. and Igor C. from Podgorica. They have been taken into 48-hour custody after which they will be brought before the investigative judge of the Belgrade District Court.
During the inspection of the houses and the truck used by suspects, the police found 13 kilograms of heroin, over 50 kilograms of marijuana, 2 illegally owned pistols, a certain amount of hashish, equipment for measuring drugs and more than €2,000. The value of the goods confiscated is over €500,000.
