Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić chaired today a session of the Emergency Response Team, at which it was noted that the hydrological and meteorological situation has normalised compared to the beginning of the year.
Dačić stated that the Team would continue to remain on alert and ready to respond to any potential emergency situations in the period ahead.
The meeting heard that over the next ten or so days, a relatively favourable meteorological and hydrological situation is expected to continue, with no announcements of extreme weather events, and that the situation on the ground, in terms of the response of the Emergency Management Sector, is absolutely stable.
Electricity supply has proceeded without disruption and on a regular basis over the past week, and the situation in the areas of traffic and infrastructure is stable.
