Minister of Education Professor Dejan Vuk Stanković, PhD, met today, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai, with Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Amrullayev, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and ways to further enhance it.

Stanković assessed that there is room for improving cooperation and that it should be intensified in the period ahead.
The Minister announced that Serbia and Azerbaijan will expand cooperation, particularly in the fields of sports and sports management, electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as in mathematics teaching in secondary schools, noting that the Azerbaijani side sees Serbia as a reliable partner.
Stanković also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Vanuatu Marc Ati to discuss the Ministry of Education’s World in Serbia programme, through which three students from Vanuatu applied in this year’s call.
Ati informed Stanković that Vanuatu will present itself at Specialised Expo 2027.
