Serbia extremely auspicious investment target

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with a delegation of American Ball Packaging Europe corporation led by Chairman and CEO David Hoover.
At the meeting, Kostunica stressed that the presence of the US company Ball Packaging Europe, as well as other large international companies in Serbia confirms that there are preconditions for accelerated development of the Serbian economy, adding that this is also a message to other foreign investors to invest in Serbia.
Ball Chairman and CEO David Hoover said he is pleased that the company is doing business in Serbia, adding that Serbia has made considerable economic improvement, as well as regarding reform implementation.
He pointed out that the Ball corporation, within which a Zemun-based beverage can plant is operating, has highly positive experiences when it comes to doing business in Serbia. He also said that Serbia is an extremely auspicious investment target.
Serbian Minister of International Relations Milan Parivodic and President of Ball Packaging Europe John Hayes also attended the meeting.
