Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski said, at the opening of a new day-care centre for children and young people with disabilities in Raška, that the largest budget to date has been allocated for this year’s public call intended for persons with disabilities.

Đurđević Stamenkovski noted that the public call was announced yesterday and that a total of RSD 500 million has been allocated for it, representing an increase of approximately RSD 50 million, or 11%, compared with the previous year.
She emphasised that this year also brings certain developments regarding eligibility criteria and the themes of the projects themselves, adding that this is the first public call announced in the run-up to Specialised Expo 2027, noting that the programmes will be innovative and tailored to what Serbia wishes to present to the world.
The Minister pointed out that an agreement has been signed with Expo 2027 to ensure that inclusion is one of the main themes to be presented during the visits of several million visitors in Serbia over the course of this event.
