Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić chaired today’s meeting of the Emergency Response Team, at which it was noted that the hydrological and meteorological situation in the country is stable, and that a high level of readiness of all relevant institutions remains in place across Serbia.

It was stated at the meeting that favourable meteorological conditions are expected to continue until the end of January and during the first ten days of February.
An increase in water levels is currently being recorded on the Sava River, in the lower course of the Great Morava, and on watercourses in the Banat region, while on all other watercourses in Serbia water levels are slightly decreasing or stagnating.
The weather situation is also stable, and there are no emergency situations caused by adverse weather conditions.
Electricity supply is stable and regular throughout the entire territory of the country, and planned activities are under way to remedy faults on elements of the electricity distribution network.
The situation in the field of transport infrastructure is stable, and all road routes are passable.
