After awarding decisions to 22 young entrepreneurs, Macut emphasised that young people under the age of 35 had the opportunity to receive from RSD 300,000 to RSD 500,000 in grants through this programme, or up to 50 percent of the value of their investment.
The aim of the programme is to provide young people, owners of small businesses, with concrete and tangible support so that they can continue to live and develop their businesses in the places where they were born, said the Prime Minister, adding that this shows that the state has confidence in their idea, knowledge and courage to engage in entrepreneurship.
The Prime Minister also stated that this programme is a clear message that the state of Serbia supports those parts of the country that have been faced with population outflows, job losses and the weakening of the local economy for years, but which, despite everything, according to the good old Serbian custom, do not give up.
The Prime Minister emphasised that he is particularly encouraged by the fact that the entrepreneurial spirit exists in all parts of Serbia, with the Braničevo, Pomoravlje and North Banat districts standing out in particular, and the state's task is to support this.
He underlined that the Serbian government remains firmly committed to continuing with policies that link economic growth and demographic renewal.
