Under the conclusion, the forest ecosystems of Papratski Do in Fruška Gora National Park, Kozje Stene in Kopaonik National Park and Zvezda and Rača in Tara National Park are being proposed for inscription on this prestigious list.
Serbia will nominate the beech forests in these three national parks jointly with France, Italy and Montenegro, and the inscription of the first natural property from Serbia on the World Heritage List would represent recognition of the successful preservation of natural heritage of European and global importance.
Members of the government also adopted the Decree amending and supplementing the Decree on the allocation of incentives in agriculture and rural development for 2026, thereby creating the conditions to settle outstanding obligations arising from public calls issued at the end of last year, while at the same time addressing new applications in the current year.
The largest share of funds will be directed towards direct payments to farmers, primarily livestock breeders, milk producers and arable farmers, as well as towards support for investments in machinery, equipment, breeding stock and organic production, with part of the funds earmarked for village development and infrastructure.
