During the meeting, it was confirmed that Serbia and FAO have a long-standing, stable and substantive partnership, while particular attention was devoted to the Draft Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Serbia until 2034, in the preparation of which FAO took part.
Gangi stated that FAO remains open to further cooperation and support to Serbia in the implementation of the strategy itself.
The interlocutors agreed that the implementation of other projects carried out by the Ministry with FAO support has also been very successful.
Glamočić emphasised that the Ministry highly values FAO’s continuous support in the area of food systems transformation as well, through inclusive dialogues, support to small producers and the promotion of sustainable production models.
