Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Academician Bela Balint met today with Ambassador of Italy to Serbia Luca Gori to discuss the implementation of joint activities in 2026, with particular emphasis on further enhancing the existing framework of cooperation.

Balint assessed that organising a joint event in April, proposed by the Ambassador, at which the results of joint scientific research projects would be presented, would be an excellent opportunity to promote the decades-long professional cooperation between Serbia and Italy.
The interlocutors also agreed on joint planning and work on the concept of the event, at which 16 joint projects in the fields of agritechnology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence and other related areas will be presented.
