New constitution of Serbia should be brought as soon as possible

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Vice President of the Serbian Radical Party Tomislav Nikolic agreed during the talks today that it is necessary to implement as soon as possible Serbian parliament's decision on bringing new constitution of Serbia, which would define the province of Kosovo-Metohija as an integral part of the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
Kostunica and Nikolic concluded that parliament's decision binds all state institutions and all parties in parliament to give their full contribution to the immediate harmonisation and completion of the text of the new constitution of Serbia.
They agreed that it would enable a timely response of the state of Serbia, based on law, to the possible attempt of imposing a solution for Kosovo-Metohija.
The two officials agreed that if there is a good political will among all parliament parties, the new constitution can be brought within a very short time and voiced hope that the majority of Serbian citizens will vote for the new constitution at the referendum.
