Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, stated today, following visits to Nova Varoš, Priboj and Prijepolje, that the situation in the Zlatibor District is stable and that teams on the ground are acting efficiently.
Macut emphasised that the crisis situation is being overcome gradually, that the number of households without electricity across the territory of Serbia is small and that the state is providing support to citizens in such situations.
At present, the Moravica District is the most affected, specifically Ivanjica, but I expect that we will resolve this issue as well in the shortest possible time, the Prime Minister said.
He added that river courses will be stabilised and that at this moment, there is no danger of rising water levels, noting that public water management company Srbijavode is keeping the situation under control.
