Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, following his visit to Nova Varoš earlier in the day, visited Priboj and Prijepolje, where he held meetings with the leadership of these municipalities.
After the meeting at the Municipality of Priboj, the Prime Minister stated that discussions focused on the situation on the ground following the snowfall, as well as on the economic and business situation in the municipality.
President of the Municipality of Priboj Lazar Rvović said that there were problems with the supply of electricity in the municipality, with its dispersed settlement pattern posing an additional challenge.
During his visit to Prijepolje, the Prime Minister met with President of the Municipality Drago Popadić and his associates, noting during the meeting that all state services were fully engaged in addressing the consequences of the snowfall.

Here, full readiness of the response system was confirmed in the event of sudden snowmelt and rising water levels.
Macut noted that particular attention had been given to works to be carried out on regulating the riverbed of the Mileševka River and to the remediation of landslides in the Sedobro settlement, and an agreement was also reached on enhanced monitoring and the continuation of works in order to prevent further damage.
The Prime Minister concluded his visit to the Lim River Valley with a tour of the Mileševa Monastery.
