The statement from the Ministry of the Interior notes that the session reviewed the current hydrological and meteorological situations in the country, as well as the situation on the ground, while important conclusions were drawn for the coming period.
At the end of the session, Dačić presented conclusions that defined further activities, as well as the work of the competent services.
The team adopted a conclusion that applies to everyone in the protection and rescue system, requiring them to take all operational and preventive measures in order to increase the level of organisation and readiness of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management System resources in the upcoming period.
This conclusion obliges government ministries, public enterprises, special organisations and other institutions engaged in the work of the Emergency Response Team to, in accordance with their competencies and operational planning documents, engage human and material capacities and implement measures and activities for an effective response and mitigation of the consequences of the cold snap, especially in terms of resolving problems and ensuring continuous electricity supply and road traffic.
