The Border Police Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior announced that, in cooperation with the border authorities of Hungary, it has agreed to change the working hours of the Bajmok – Bácsalmás border crossing due to the upcoming New Year's and Christmas holidays.

In the period from 19 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, on the days of the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) this border crossing will be open from 07:00 to 24:00, instead of from 07:00 to 19:00.
This border crossing is open for passenger traffic, excluding buses and freight traffic, the statement said.
