Premiums paid for industrial herbs

The Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has stated that today, through the Treasury Directorate of the Serbian Ministry of Finance, 297 million dinars were paid out as premiums for industrial herbs in response to 2,533 applications submitted by registered agricultural farms, who submitted applications for premiums by July 31 2006.
Registered agricultural farms, which do not have the status of noncommercial farms, had the right to premiums for production of hop, canola, oil pumpkin and leaf tobacco in the amount of 20,000 dinars per hectare of sowed hop, 7,000 dinars per hectare of sowed oil pumpkin or canola and 65,000 dinars per hectare of sowed leaf tobacco, for surface areas registered in the register of agricultural farms.
