The Serbian government adopted a set of energy bills at today’s session, taking into account the current situation in the sector, namely the Bill on Crude Oil, the Bill on Natural Gas and the Bill on Mandatory Reserves of Crude Oil, Petroleum Products and Natural Gas.

The aim of adopting these three laws is to increase the security, quality and reliability of supply to the domestic market, as well as to ensure compliance with European Union regulations in these areas.
Government members also adopted the Decree on Granting Prior Consent to the Decision on the Establishment of Limited Liability Company Gas Infrastruktura Novi Sad.
The Decision specifies that the new company, Gas Infrastruktura, will be the owner of infrastructure in accordance with internationally accepted obligations, while public company Srbijagas will continue to supply the market with gas.
