“Wine Vision by Open Balkan” is a product of the Open Balkan initiative, which connects Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania. This year’s event will bring together more than 600 exhibitors presenting wines, spirits, delicacies and tourism offers from Serbia, the region and areas from all continents.
Throughout this international event, a number of educational programmes, workshops, masterclasses, competitions and panel discussions will be organised, along with unique tastings. Numerous distinguished wine experts holding the prestigious Master of Wine title, including Rod Smith MW, President of the global organisation of wine professionals, the Institute of Masters of Wine, have announced their attendance in Belgrade.
In addition to exhibitors, the Belgrade Fair will host several hundred wine traders, importers and distributors from around the world. As in previous years, a special digital platform has been prepared for scheduling business-to-business (B2B) meetings, enabling direct contact and the establishment of business cooperation in a dedicated area.
At the fair’s finale, wines from Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania will compete for the title of the best, to be judged by international experts, including five holders of the Master of Wine title. In addition to wines, the results of the Rakija Trophy competition will also be presented.
The fair’s culinary section will feature the “Food Vision” event, dedicated to regional gastronomy and hospitality. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend chef competitions, food and wine pairings, masterclasses and other activities.
