The Ministry of Defence announced that a regular rotation of the Serbian Armed Forces contingent in the European Union military operation for the training of the Central African Republic’s security forces has been completed at Camp Moana in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic.

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces – a staff officer in the capacity of advisor to the mission commander for health and a six-member medical team – have successfully carried out all assigned tasks since their arrival in the operation zone in April this year.
Their engagement, professionalism and expertise are reflected in the recognition and excellent evaluations they received from their superiors in the mission command.
The Serbian Armed Forces began their participation in the European Union military operation in the Central African Republic in 2016. To date, more than 160 doctors and medical technicians have been deployed to this mission, serving in command and medical team roles.
