Minister of Justice Nenad Vujić met today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia Kristin Melsom.
The two officials discussed the improvement of bilateral cooperation in the field of the judiciary and the rule of law.
They also examined opportunities for further strengthening cooperation, especially in the context of European integration of Serbia, judicial reform and exchange of experiences in the field of digitalisation of the judicial system.
Vujić highlighted Serbia’s commitment to continuing reform processes in line with the Revised Action Plan for Chapter 23, Judicial Development Strategy for the period 2020-2025, as well as the Reform Agenda accompanying the new Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
For her part, the Ambassador expressed Norway’s readiness to continue providing support to Serbia on its path towards strengthening institutional capacities and harmonisation with European standards, according to a statement from the Ministry of Justice.
