Good legal and economic basis for Serbian economic development created

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica congratulated today Serbian ministers who made it possible for the record high investment of Norwegian telecommunications company Telenor ASA to be agreed on and said that good legal and economic basis has been created for the development of the Serbian economy.
Kostunica congratulated the authorised ministries that prepared the grounds for the record high investment of €1.513 billion that the Norwegian telecommunication company agreed to pay for mobile network Mobi 63.
The job was done excellently, from police and justice ministers, who created the legal grounds, to economy-related ministers who worked on implementation of this investment, the Prime Minister said in a statement with Tanjug.
He stressed that the whole of Serbia will have substantial benefit from this good and large-scope deal, adding that what now follows is a very important investment of Russian Gazprom worth nearly $1 billion.
This confirms that the Serbian government really created good legislative, legal and economic basis for the Serbian economy to develop in a strong way, said Kostunica and added that this is not just a success of the Serbian government, but also of all Serbian citizens and whole society.
