The statement says that Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic and war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic, who is also operational coordinator for implementation of the Action plan, reached an agreement during a meeting to set aside 46.5 million dinars from the budget for this purpose.
The funds will be used for the introduction of a special protected Internet network for access to the database of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and for the wages of 2 deputy and 3 assistant prosecutors, who have been recently employed in the prosecutor's office.
At the meeting it was agreed that the efficient work of the prosecutor's office is a national priority, because of which the government will continue to offer all necessary financial support to this institution, the statement reads.
