The visitors of the show and buyers will see Serbian “ajvar”, mushrooms, jams, marmalades, wines, fruit brandies, frozen and fresh fruit, juices, confectionary products, organic and other products.
The companies from Serbia that will participate in this fair that attracts between 19,000 and 22,000 visitors every year include Foodex, Foodland, Nectar, Malina Produkt, Interfood, Aroma, Pionir, As Group, Wolf Export, Navip, Stara Sokolova, Resava, Sirogojno, Arex, Marni, Igda, Zadrugar and Agranela.
The Ministry said that all these companies were involved in a training programme organised by the Serbia Enterprise Development Project (SEDP) financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The themes discussed in the training programme covered new marketing, positioning and branding, branding strategy basics, promotional sale techniques and fair exhibition.
The sponsors of presentation of Serbian companies in the New York fair are the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Serbian Investment Promotion Agency (SIEPA) and SEDP.
